Alyssa’s top 5’s at Hollywood studios

Hello everybody, I’m back here today with another top 5 on Hollywood Studios so let’s get ready! At the end of every attraction, the link to the Walt Disney World website will be accessible. So make sure to check it out.

Before I start I need to say something. First I know I haven’t posted anything in a long time. I’m sorry for that, but I know that I am going to try to start back up again so I hope you enjoy! Second, Walt Disney World has made Pandora. If you can guess, a while back I made a top 5 rides list for the Animal Kingdom park. So the list is now outdated. However, I have gone to Disney several times since it has opened so I am making a new one. Now I’m done talking, let’s get this list on Hollywood Studios started!

Remember 5= worst 1= best. (In my opinion)

5-Star Tours – The Adventures Continue

Next on the list I originally wanted this spot to be the great movie ride. Sadly I could not get this out in time and it left Hollywood studios August 13th, 2017 so instead, I put Star Tours in its place. Star Tours is a ride where you can go fly through the galaxy to save the day and travel to some of your favorite places from Star Wars. Also, you might see some of your favorite characters, like C3P0, R2D2 and maybe even Darth Vader, wow that sounded like Stacy from Must Do Disney. (if you have ever stayed at a Disney resort you know what I am talking about).

4-Slinky Dog Dash

So my family has gone to Toy Story Land since it has come out but we have never ridden Slinky Dog Dash. (Dad did not get fast passes Cough Cough). So I can not give a full on review of the ride. I will still put it on this list since from the way it looks, and the people screaming on the ride it looks life fun. This includes the 2 hour long lines and videos I have seen. I refuse to put it higher though since I have not experienced it for myself.

3-Toy Story Midway Mania!

Yes, I know some people are going to notice that I called it the Disneyland name but I have called it this for years so I’m sticking with it. Toy Story Midway Mania is a 4D shooting game against the person beside you. There are different mini-games in this big game that almost all the characters have a part to play like Woody, Jessy, Trixy and Rex. The games are timed so you want to get as many points as possible to beat the player beside you or entire party. If you know the games well like my family you can trigger the secret ways to get the most points with your partner or if you’re greedy, on your own.

2-The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

Down to our number 2 spot, or should I say up, the Hollywood Tower Hotel.  A hotel set in the year 1939 when a family got into an elevator and went up and up and up until they hit…THE TWILIGHT ZONE! Now there is an elevator ready for you, if you ride it you may find yourself in the Twilight Zone. All jokes aside this is a very fun ride, its one of my favorites at Hollywood studios but not the best. You can fly out of your seat a bit, well at least I do. This elevator also gives you a good, but quick view of the park at its peak height.

1-Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster

Get ready to ROCK AND ROLLLL! This ride is a fast-paced roller coaster in Los Angeles that takes you to an Aerosmith concert so you can enjoy it with your backstage passes. You have to roll in style right? While you’re on your way put on your radio and listen to Aerosmith songs like “Dude looks like a Lady”. As you go through the ride, you will notice a lot of signs with directions to make it look like you are speeding down a Los Angeles freeway. If you are having second thoughts about going on it then maybe you want to sit this one out, it does go really fast. If you don’t believe me its max speed is about 92 km/h. You have been warned.

Well, that was today’s top 5. Be sure to comment below with your top 5! As stated I will redo my Animal Kingdom list with the knowledge I got from my most recent stays at Disney. Have a wonderful day and see you in my next post!
